As a military spouse, change has been the word that best describes my life. My zip code changes ever few years and my Christmas card list gets longer each time the moving van shows up. When things don’t change for a while I get restless.
I’ve lived in Louisiana, on the same base, for almost four years now. I’ve learned what flowers grow and thrive in the summer. I’ve made friendships that have grown roots while I’m still around. I’ve seen businesses break ground and been around to witness them opening their doors.
As a result I have to feed my longing for change with travel.
This was one of my daily walks last week in Louisiana….
This was yesterday’s walk in South Dakota….
For now, I have to be content with this kind of change.
I love the photos, in the first shot I yearn to be in places like that, that meander through trees and greenery. If flowers are present that’s even better.
The second shot makes me cold, and the ‘crispness’ supports that feeling.
Good job!

Thanks for stopping by Dwayne! I get a lot of the first shot, had to travel pretty far away from Louisiana to find some snow cold and snow and I’ve loved it!
