In the grand scheme of things it isn’t really all that much of an achievement, but traveling alone isn’t something I enjoy doing, so when I pulled up in front of my sister’s house yesterday this felt like a pretty big accomplishment.
As the day was ending I set out on foot to breathe in the cold winter air and clear my head from the long miles on the road. I was thrilled to find rural landscape all around me.
I’m pretty sure one of my past lives must have been spent on a farm. Visually, I love everything about them.
And my next achievement? A 40 minute mostly run/partly walk (when the path was icy) this morning, that resulted in these images which were worth every minute of the wind and cold. And I love that I found a Little Free Library in the park I was running through!
Julie – I love the eye that you have w/your photography. Love, Aunt Sue
Thanks Aunt Sue!
