Does a color remind you of someone in your life? Purple is my mom; she loved irises and lilacs and had a purple bedroom. Pink represents a sparkling and embracing group of friends in my life who wear tiaras. Blue is my sister Jeanne, who loves the ocean.
But orange is Kristi, a dear friend who graduated from Oklahoma State University.
I seldom see her without orange somewhere on her person and as a result, I can’t see the color orange without thinking of her and smiling.
What a beautiful color it is.
And what a nice thing, to be reminded of a friend, whenever I see it.

Orange is a top-notch color. Here in Austin, Texas, the Longhorns fans are said to bleed orange.
