Good news and big life changes don’t always happen all at once. Quite often they come at us the way a difficult road has to be driven, with caution around curves and a slight hesitation as we crest the hills, not quite knowing what’s on the other side.
Tonight we ate dinner on the deck for the first time this season, opening a bottle of wine and sharing a quiet toast with cautious optimism, trusting that information received today, while not yet completely worthy of jubilation, will soon be cause for great happiness and triumph.
Most certainly followed by yet another round of cardboard boxes and moving vans. When I officially joined our local church a few months ago something told me it was just a little too soon….

In my opinion it just doesn’t ever make sense not to be “up” about it. Each adventure has a purpose and finding out what that is part of the experience and the fun! About halfway through Jim’s career we had to make a move that I really didn’t want to make and those few years ended up being one of our favorite assignments. After that I learned not to question but to go at it with peace.

Ruthie Marcotte’s advise to me was, “Bloom where you are planted!” It served me well, and I know you have lived it. God’s plan is always greater than our imagination!
