“Spring drew on…and a greenness grew over those brown beds, which, freshening daily, suggested the thought that Hope traversed them at night, and left each morning brighter traces of her steps.”
Charlotte Bronte, Jane Eyre
And just for grins, who can resist these happy dog cousins on a photo shoot in a field of Texas bluebonnets? Despite the weather in northern states, spring is alive and well in the South and green is bursting forth all over!
I love the Quote you shared. The pictures you chose to share are perfect for the Quote.
Love ya

I’m in Chicago this week and was surprised at how brown it still is. Seems I’ve gotten used to living the south already, where flowers started budding the end of February. It will come to you in WA, just keep believing in mother nature and the power of hope!
