  1. The high dive always scared me, too. The public pool has a high dive, but he health club doesn’t – I swim laps – it’s easier on my knees and it builds my heart as well as my core and arms. And I can swim year round, which is pretty good when I live in Illinois. Grew up in southeast Texas where it is hot and humid from May until October and sometimes longer. Live cooling off in the pool, or a lake. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

    • Thanks for stopping by and reading! I understand about the southeast Texas weather….this time of year, in Shreveport, I pretty much just stay inside, unless I have grandkids visiting and then it’s to the pool we go!

  2. It’s amazing the JOY we receive watching our grandchildren experience life to the FULLEST!! My feeling about high dives was a LOVE/HATE!! Love that you have your Texas grandchildren one at a time for a week:) PRICELESS!!!

    • Looks like you just had a GREAT week at the beach with all of yours! Who would have thought, all those years ago when we were raising all those boys, that we’d have amazing daughter-in-laws and precious grandkids….and suddenly here we are!
