A companion can take many forms. Often the experiences in our lives are enriched when a companion is involved. Many times a companion makes difficult moments more bearable.
Since receiving this challenge last week I’ve become a voyeur of sorts while I’ve been traveling in Europe. These are the stolen moments I’ve recorded with my camera:
A companion can be a stranger or a best friend. Oftentimes one leads to the other and we end up with a lifelong friend, a companion we can count on, always.
This has been my companion for the past ten days on the second half of my European trip. We’re both military spouses so complete chance brought us together. Initially companionship made us friends but our friendship has evolved because of shared experiences, joys and sorrows.
This week we’re visiting my sister at a convent in Switzerland but we’re really only kidding when we ask if they’re accepting novices. We’d both miss the guys who brought us together in the first place, our companions in marriage.
A beautiful collection of photos. I like that you showed companions of different ages.
