I’m a fall and winter fan. I love the rich colors of autumn and the long nights of winter. Spring has never been one of my favorite seasons but as I grow older I’m finding not only more patience in my life, but also a greater appreciation for planting things in the soil and watching them grow. Spring is renewal and new growth and promise.
And I have to admit there’s really nothing that compares to spring green.
The green of April shouts. It bursts forth in a cacophony of activity as leaves burst forth from tightly wound buds. As if in an instant Mother Nature awakens from her slumber and the stark, elegant trees of winter clothe themselves in their summer best. That new green holds its own for a few short weeks and then this occurs….
And for a time my home is surrounded with vibrant color.
I remember Your Beautiful Azaleas!!!
