With views like this, life was anything but pedestrian this past week in the mountains of Colorado.

But I did spend a lot of time AS a pedestrian, lacing up my hiking boots to explore a landscape so very different from the places I usually walk.

Each step reminding me that life is better when viewed on foot.

  The aspens were most definitely peaking….and one day we had about three inches of snow. A perfect gift from mother nature for this midwest girl, now living in the south, who misses winter!
